At Erinstone we specialise in installing resin bound stone. It’s ideal for resin driveways, resin patios, resin pathways & resin steps. We believe that only the best will do. To accomplish this we only use the strongest UV stable premium resin (min 7%) mixed with the highest quality dried gravel aggregate.
Our blends are tested to BBA certification and laid to a minimum depth of 18mm.
We always aim for A1 resin finishes. Our other services include commercial SuDS Resin installation, EcoGrid permeable paving, internal Stone-Carpet & RubbaStone flexible paving.
How Erinstone Started?
After a couple of years of trowelling resin bound stone in my previous garden design business, I incorporated Erinstone Ltd in 2017. My young daughter Erin was undoubtedly the inspiration for the new company. I researched many Resin Bound Stone Systems and tested the best resins with the best stone blends. As a result, we now produce the most durable resin driveways, resin patios and resin pathways. As previously mentioned, we only use the strongest UV stable resin, which is comfortably twice as strong as the nearest competitor. The resin is flexible enough to cope with ground movement whilst not breaking up under the moving of car wheels. The stone blends, while beautiful, are combined to form a strong matrix whilst still being permeable.
Why Have A Resin Driveway?
Permeable Paving is smooth, beautiful and hard-wearing. It is porous to water; therefore, it is SuDs compliant. (Sustainable Underground Drainage Systems) That also means you won’t have to apply for planning, unlike non-free draining surfaces like tarmac, patterned concrete and block paving. Resin Bound Stone is also environmentally friendly compared to these other surfaces too. Meaning you produce a smaller carbon footprint because of its production and longevity.
Resin bound stone can be used for a variety of external and internal flooring; we can install designs and logos in almost any colour. About Our Resin Blends
With a very reassuring 15 Year Erinstone Guarantee for your resin driveway. Erinstone insists on using the strongest tested aliphatic U.V. stable resin for all our blends. Unfortunately, not everyone uses BBA approved strong U.V. stable resin at 7%, so take care. Without this protection, you risk yellowing and cracking your driveway over time. At Erinstone, we insist on using dried, non-rusting and high compression strength aggregate. The proportion of different sized stones in a blend is also essential. Water should flow through while good contact between surfaces maintains high strength. Smooth and seamless, it avoids joint failure and is an excellent non-slip surface for kids. Finally, enquire about our Rubbastone, which has more traction and a little ‘bounce’ to it.

What Blend (Colour) Will You Choose?
Over the years, Erinstone has created and tested over 100 RBS blends. Please see our blends gallery for this year’s blend colours. On your site visit, you will be shown our latest selection of 24 blends, including a wide range of colours from lights to darks with Greys, Buffs, Browns, Green and Red. These have all been tested and exceeded BBA standards for strength and slip.
Bespoke Blend Service
If you still can’t decide from these and you have something else in mind, please tell us, and we will more than likely be able to install your preferred blend. Additionally, you can take advantage of our bespoke blend service, where we will create and test your vision. Please note that there might be an additional charge to cover the cost of any rare/unique stones that go into your bespoke blend.
